1、 Determination of drying room
The evaporation intensity of some materials processed by the rotary flash dryer and the volumetric heating method are theoretical design methods for the rotary flash dryer. However, the key volumetric heating coefficient in this method is difficult to determine, so it lacks operability. The evaporation intensity method is an indirect method of volumetric heating method, which can be calculated as long as there is certain experimental data. It is a commonly used method in industrial design. The evaporation intensity method calculates the volume of the drying chamber based on the amount and intensity of evaporation, and then calculates the effective height based on the relationship between diameter and height.

2、 Drying chamber diameter
Another method is to calculate the required air consumption through material balance and heat balance, and then determine the diameter of the dryer based on the range of air velocity.

3、 Height and graded particle size of dryer
The hot air from the hot air distributor enters the drying chamber through a circular gap in a tangential direction. The material in the drying chamber rotates and rises in a spiral motion under the action of the hot air blowing and the push of the agitator. When studying the fluid motion of smaller particles under centrifugal force fields, the influence of gravity is minimal and can therefore be ignored.

4、 Application of Rotary Flash Drying Machine
The operating conditions of the partial rotary flash dryer include a grading ring at the upper part of the drying chamber, which is mainly used to separate materials with larger or undried particles from qualified products. Blocking them in the drying chamber can effectively ensure the required particle size and moisture content of the products. Replacing grading rings with different diameters can meet the particle size requirements of the product. Cold air protection is installed at the location of the cone bottom hot air population to prevent materials from overheating and deteriorating due to contact with high-temperature air. The drying system is enclosed and operates under slight negative pressure, preventing dust leakage and protecting the production environment, ensuring safety and hygiene.
